Shreds after one wear! January 19, 2012

My three year old daughter loves belle and received two of these for Christmas. She immediately put the first one on after opening. After wearing the dress for about two hours the bottom was completely shredded. I'm still not sure how it was even possible. She was opening gifts and socializing with her grandparents, not running outside, climbing and falling in it. I tried repairing it but the thin fabric kept bunching in my sewing machine. I gave up, wrote it off as lesson learned, and promptly returned the second one.

My little girl loves nothing more than to dress up in pretty princess gowns. So I was really excited when I bought her this dress and a Little Mermaid one from Disney. Both dresses were tattered and falling apart after one wear. The only spots on these dresses not currently being torn apart are the places I've already mended.I am seriously disappointed in these products. You would think at this price and with the Disney name you would be getting something of SOME quality, but you really don't. My daughter also has a dress-up gown of a generic company that we bought for $11. The cheap dress has stood up for 4 months now with heavy wear and play, while the Disney ones didn't last 4 hours. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE.

Don't buy this. After one wear, my 3 year old grandchild was in tears because this dress was literally in tatters. It's absolutely unbelievable that any company can put something like this out. I'm absolutely disgusted. Shame on Disney for putting their name on this junk
